  1. Im just wondering if the Moders from CM:BO, are getting to work on the CMBB models from the Demo. The Tanks Mainly, or will they wait till the game comes out first? I look forward to seeing what they can do, after all the experience they gained from the first game....im really excited.
  2. Sorry if this Question has been asked. I have been away from CM for a while. Has any new stuff come out for CM:BO? And Mods that are too good not to get? I have been away from CM since the new Mod Manger 3.02 came out.
  3. Ok, I'll post again, seems some of you find it interesting. I just thought that 6 months after you played every mission in CM:BB your gonna be looking to download new maps. Even if the Maus is not in the game, you still dont know what the limits the Modders are gonna run into with the new models. They could in fact allow them to totally change a JagTiger to look like a Maus for fun. I would like to see a Fictional Campain where the war carrys on long after 1945. Perhaps the Maus would be use by then. At lest the Jagtiger is kinda close for Modders to play with. But hey, BTS could shock us with a Maus, to be used in Operations and Battles after 1945.
  4. G.I. Combat is an RTS anyway. Games like Combat Mission feel more Epic to me, for some reason. an RTS is usually fast and you have to think very quick, I want a WWII RTS, but later, when they are really beefed up. CM:BB will be enough strategy for me at this point. [ May 11, 2002, 04:44 AM: Message edited by: Volker ]
  5. What do you mean Fantasy has its place? How many Fictional Battles or Operations has everyone played? Ok, so lets jerk out all Fictional Missions from the game, and from the depot from now on if Fantasy does not belong in CM. Im really surprised with the response im getting from this, you guys are usually really cool about this type of thing. But this is my last post about it, as I see its heading down to a flame war anyway. It was just an idea, you dont like it, fine by me. I respect your opinion. And of course I dont want them to hold the game just to make the Maus, this was only a Quesion to you the fans, not an order to BTS [ May 11, 2002, 04:37 AM: Message edited by: Volker ]
  6. Well yeah, I want the main tanks first and only. Maus just only as an extra feature or easter egg for Map Makers to play with. What If Russia fell, and the Maus was starting to be used after may 1945.
  7. Your missing the Point of my post. I said a Maus for Fantasy use and already your quoting me on what the germans had. Fantasy campains like Operation Sea Lion, where germany invades england are fun to play "What If" battles could have a Maus (with all the fantasy support it needs) attacking Western Russia cities, after Moscow had fallen, in a Fantasy campain. I just think it would be Interesting is all. [ May 10, 2002, 07:12 PM: Message edited by: Volker ]
  8. Just for fun, for Fictional Battles and Campains. I would not mind having them Model one just for us to use in our Fantasy Battles, that keep the war going. Just the Maus, or other tanks that saw Limited, or rare combat. No P 1000's tanks, and stuff like that, that gets a little too Fantasy. What do you think?
  9. Im still looking forward to CMMOS 3.02.
  10. I just copied everything off the CM, CD, and placed it in a new Folder, made for the Total Mod, so I can play them like new games. I added links to each too, adding the name of the Total Mod, and year setting. Such as, Fading Hopes 1939-1940. And so on for the others.
  11. Can someone list what are the best Hotseat/PBEM Games? Me and my dad want to take part in heated Operations for Hotseat. Last game we played was kinda lop sided for the Allied Armies. Had to quit mid-way.
  12. I know that game is not apart of CM, Im just wondering what type it is, RTS, or Turn-Based? CMII is due in what, 2003?
  13. Thanks for the Info, but in terms of the East Front game, Im talking about that game where you see the crew of that AT gun. From that Russin Site, I think the game is called World War II. It was in the Post you Linked to, about CMII.
  14. Now wait just a Second! You mean CM:BB is NOT CMII? CMII is a totally new game they will be working on? So CM:BB is the same as CM:BO?
  15. Oh man, lol, we otta get some guys together to Mod together a Warhammer 40,000 game for CM:BB. Im sure it would take some work, but not totally impossible. Change uniforms to look like metal suits. Add green skin color to the German's, lol. It can be done I think.
  16. Wait a Second, you mean the CM Dev's plan to make more CM's after CM:BB, dealing in North Africa, and then Early War?
  17. I went around gathering up Mods for tanks and other such things CMMOS does not change, that way I'll be set once its out. Most of the things CMMOS uses, I have left unmodded. But I have my stock pile of CMMOS Mods ready to go.
  18. Hey dude, I know itsconfusing, and im sure one of these guys can tell you what to do. But you may as well unintall CMMOS 3.01, cuz with luck, CMMOS 3.02 comes out this weekend. They told me you cant have 3.01 once 3.02 is out. Im waiting for it, I recommend you wait too, but its up to. To answer your question, I think you unzip your Mods, into your Combat Mission BMP folder, it wont copy over anything, they use a code or something that CMMOS reads, to install Mods on your CM, as for rule Set's, I think you just stick them in the CMMOS folder, next to the other Rule Sets. Of course, I hope someone who knows what their doing, tell me if this is right or not.
