Hey buddy .... I still am not able to get CM to work as yet so hang in there for pbem games .... fortunately I am sure that it is my puter and not the game .... As for the smoke .... I have seen intelligent use of smoke before .... and actually encouraged me to use it more than I have in the past .... but as for re-targeting the original target .... THAT was special .... MY sherman usually blasts the foxhole with an enemy flag in it either 600m away or 5m in front of my guys (and thus blowing up my own inf) .... someone must have stuck some green troops in the latest recruitment lists ....

So are you saying that there is already a CMBB graphics package that fits over CM ??? That is what I was getting at .... I know about (and have) numerous mods but they still dont compare with the overall look of CMBB ..

Tried this once in a game .... took four of them Osterwheelbarrows .... vs puter opp (no planes alomst guaranteed) .... Took out ALL small armour and vehicles quickly .... even if often with the chunkier stuff it immobilised and hit guns first .... and even took out 2 fireflies .... but I had to ambush from the side and basically pound them from every angle .... This was an experiment game with open terrain so as to allow the manouverability needed .... so then it was relatively easy to keep the inf at bay and eventually run them down .... The best part is that these things never run out of ammo .... they are LOADED .... Anyone else experimented with AKAK??

If they are going to all this trouble for new graphics/tile etc it would be good to see CM (A great game) get a new lease on life .... I know the german graphics and some allies get a serious overlap but not so much the yanks and poms .... pity about that .... They dont have to change the engine .... just release a graphics package once its all done ....

Chain of command ... that was a v cool online game IF you had good connection .... pity about it going belly up .... anyone have a similar recommendation?? "ridiculous little game" .... that's the one .... .... a friend and I went in there a ala recommendation from in here .... you hit right on the money ... ah well ....

I might just have to change my tactics when it comes to armour if this is not uncommon ....

I used to go there but I always had a SLOW connection .... now I have a dsl but the 2AM site seems to have gone ... I know this is a little off topic but I figure this is the crowd that would know .... PS .... whoever recommended the minicombat site .... I want to play YOU at CM ....

Recently happened to me .... my opp had four HT in an area where I could easily see .... and soon dispatched the tin cans to flames .... after about 5 turns I run a platoon of airborne through the wheat field only to discover an SP Gun hiding in the wheat field !! It was not possible for this to be placed there in setup .... I had clear view of the open flat ground surrounding with multiple units .... and I never even saw a marker there .... until I got within about 50m in the wheat field I never knew he was there .... what is this wheat ten feet tall or something??? HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE!!!???!!!

Well at SOME point Bonaparte had to talk to underlings .... or did he sign language his orders down the chain??? I dare say there wasn't too much room for other generals in Bonapartes army ....

So I will probably address issues which have been done already .... Church steeple snipers/MG .... will we see them in CMBB?? Spreading fires .... will we see them either?? Flamethrower Infantry blowing up?? .... hehehe Windows in buildings that affect LOF ???? Wind factors?? (and thus blowing smoke??) That'll do for now .... just some thoughts I had .... what I have seen so far of the graphics CMBB is something to drool home about ....

Might have been asked and answered .... but will CMBB act as an upgrade to the current missions and scenarios?
