  1. Here's an idea I've got which would make CM2 as ground breaking as CM1: Go beond the present operations and model a small campagne. An entire campagne theater could be ramdomly generated or historically modled out of the 1km sq battlefield maps each one in continuity with its nieghbough to form an overall campagne map. On this campagne map units are strategically manovered in continous time using a fully realistic range of orders and realistcally modeled chain of command. The strategic AI would have to be exellent - it would have to model each level of the command chain - but judging from the brilliant tactical AI of the present game I belive those chaps could do it. When units come into contact the action is transfered to the corresponding 1km sq map - the enemy AI would conduct the battle according to its orders. Enemy contacts could played out or you could let the AI do it. As each AI move takes 3 - 10 secs a 30 min battle could be calculated in 1.5 to 5 mins in the fullest detail, much more accuratly than a generalised caluculation. Imagine that extra dimension a full campagne would bring! It would not be artifical like CC4/5's strategic level. It could as realistic and challenging as it gets!   2. Can infantry directly assault tanks by embarking on them and using hand grenades - small arms down the tanks hatch?
  3. I dont know if this has been dealt with in the past but in night battles can you use flares? (illumination, not the trousers)
