  1. Not to get too OT here, but wasn't there a big huff that use of the .50 cal in an anti-personnel role is technically a violation of the Geneva convention as it was originally and AT weapon? Definetly not agreeing with this, just wondering if it was true or a urban legend in military circles.

    We had the same discussion when I was with the 1st ID. I was on an SP Vulcan 20mm. You are allowed to shoot at their equipment though. BTW, a steel pot, LBE and anything else they carry are considered equipment.
