When it was first released a bunch of us had some issues. Didn't BF change around who made the disks?

About 4 years ago there was a thread on the same topic. There were over 500 posts to the thread. It's a good question.
Using cheap vehicles, crews, bazookas, panzerschrecks, etc. to do "recon by death" is gamey in the extreme. Would you follow an order to drive a JEEP all over an area where you KNOW the enemy is hidden, just to draw fire? If you were the CO would you order somebody to do something like that?
It's actually a rookie tactic IMO. It doesn't work too awfully well, especially in CMBB and CMAK, and it DOES cost him some points that could be spent on something more lethal.

Ya, I brought to life the old thread about CMBB not loading. Even with the replacement disk I got way back I still needed the files from Matt to complete the install. At least this time I burned the DL'd files for future loadings.

Still having an issue. After formatting I tried the new disk but it won't fully install nor will it be copied to my HD. Same problem with reading the device. Are the missing files still available for DL?
It worked great with the files that were made available.

Subvet, if your install failed like everyone else's it should work fine. Check through the threads where Matt lists what folders should be in the root and how many files in each.

Check the Tech Forum and then E-Mail Matt.

Triplett, try it first and then see what your options are. Most have at least loaded most of the game and only needed the files that Matt made available for DL. A couple of wav zips and the Scenarios.
With these files my game runs fine. Of course if I ever had to reinstall I would have the same issue.

Even though I didn't have any scenarios the scenarios folder was created when I ran the game.
