  1. In traditional Hollywood fashion, the "true" story of a sniper duel in Stalingrad is fiction. A Russian sniper, Zaitsev, did exist, but his supposed German adversary did not. The film appears to be based either on this legend or on a novel called "War of The Rats" which I read recently and thought was pretty good...
  2. Double post.. sorry. BTW in the "tools" section of www.dslreports.com there is an app that will tell you your ip address, but that ip address may not be the ip address of the machine you are running CM on.. It is probably the IP address chosen by your ISP once PPPoe negotiates the "lease". That may or may not be the ip addy of your machine depnding on your setup. Certainly if you are behind a router, it most likely would not be your host pc's ip. The router would have to be configured to forward incoming requests to the proper ip addy for your host machine and the proper port for CM. 3. It sounds like your dsl provider is not providing you with a static ip address but with a dynamic ip. PPPoe (IIRC Point to Point Protocol over ethernet) is used with the dynamic ip setup and should be bound to the network card in your pc that connects to the modem. It acts like dialup as each time you connect, it negotiates or "leases" a new ip from your isp. Since your ip changes all the time, hosting is not going to be easy, if you can do it at all.... For more info on how this works and perhaps divine the right answer (which I am not sure of) go to www.dslreports.com There is a ton of info there...
  4. Did you delete the CM .prefs file and select new rendering and resolution?
