Oddly enough, after 8 reboots, CM starts up, not sure what happened, thanks for the help though

I put a new motherboard in a couple of weeks ago, but I play CM daily, no problems. I usually leave my system running. Today, I shut it down before leaving for work. I came home, started up the system, will not run CM. I tried rebooting, and on one of the reboots, I got a "cannot start 3d graphics' window, only appered once. I did try to run it off the CD, no luck

Started up my system, Clicked on the CM icon. Nothing, I tried starting the program by going to Explorer and starting the exe file nothing. I get no response. The Disc is in and the CD is running. No problems before, anyone have any ideas. Thanks

Thanks for the prompt reply. As always, your information is appreciated. I did not realize they would change the card with the motherboard. I will attempt the card change out or take it back on Monday when they reopen, while the ATI 128 was not the greatest, it certianly beats the socks off of this Intel card. Thanks again. Rick C

My Motherboard died and I decided to upgrade to a new 933 P3 that the repair shop had in stock. I was using a ATI Rage 128 with my old system. THe new Intel Desktop board D815EEA must not be compatable with the ATI Rage, I just noticed the Rage card in the box. My system is now running the Intel 82815 Graphics controller. I did not discuss this change with the shop. The color in CM is now slightly dull. The look of the game is crappy. Definatly not the same. Any suggestion on how to get my old CM back?

In my time on this forum, I don't recall a mod that has stirred up as much interest as this one. Myself included. I hate playing winter games, Tom is going to open up a new era in CM with this mod. Hurry Damn it, Hurry!
