  1. It still doesn't make any sense: 1)I'd expact "The best of the best" in optimal condition (80 meters or so) to kill more then one guy with five bullets. You don't have to be a sniper for this! 2)This still can't explain why the sniper aims for 10 seconds, and then all at once, fire five bullets. edit: This abstraction abstraction is quite an annoying chant. second time I hear this in 4 minutes. 2. I heard a discussion about sinpers a month ago. Some said that the number in the ammo bar represents 5 shots, not one. I conducted an expirement, had severel elite snipers trying to take out a squad in the open ground at fairly close range. If the ammo does represent 5 shots, my elite snipers were terrible, every "shot" killed one guy (two on one ocassion). I think it's likely that the bullet went through one guy, and went on to the other. More likely then having missed 4 shots and hit one nearly all the time. Another reason is, the sinpers usually aim for a while, then use one "shot" (weather it's 5 bullets or one). If every "shot" was 5 bullets, how come he aimed for ten seconds, and then shot five bullets at once? seems more likely it's one carefully aimed shot.
  3. quote: Picture two rooms connected by a hallway, with one squad in each room. Would you really want to be the first guy to go down that hallway? As I said, if that were the case, one can expact NO casulties atl all. And then, massive damage (the minute one squad decides to break in).
  4. Combat Mission is a great game, no doubt. It's very focused on realism, very fun to play etc. BECAUSE it's so realistic, one thing really bothers me. In hand to hand combat, shouldn't casulty rate be higher? I once had two squads or more fighting in the same house, and their fight was long. I can't imagine 24 armed men in the same room, fighting for over 60 seconds! Maybe it simulated two rooms, if that were the case, why did my soldiers die one by one, two by two? It should've been one really bloody encounter (when one squad tries to enter the other room).
