I've had the freezes so far in the first three single player scenarios. Seems totally random. Some fellow in the other forum said to turn off grass...I haven't tried that yet. Did try turning off hardware acceleration on the sound. No joy. Music kept playing, everything else doing the arctic imitation. Ctrl-Alt-Del lets it go back to Windows, though, then it reloads nicely...just don't move. I tried staring down the enemy, but they didn't run away. 256MB Nvidia GeForce GTO w/77.72 driver. SB Audigy 2 THX. 1 GRAM 3.4 GHz P4 w/HT Leaf blower cooling system.

I'd like to find out how to stop the music from playing. I turned the music volume all the way down but a minute or two after starting a single player scenario this Red Square marching tune comes on. According to my calculations, after 248 more seconds of it and I'll be certifiable... Works the same on the first three single player scenarios so far. Help? I guess I could go looking for the .wav file....

I'm running 1.05 also. Or is it running me? Anyway, I have some seriously dumb (or suicidal) tank crews also. Last night some guy was blasting away at a tank and backed up through some smoke. It took my guy about 8 seconds to forget that there was a tank in front of him. Took him all of about 10 more seconds to die, so he won't be making that mistake again. Also, before he died, he did teach a civilian school teacher (or whatever the heck he was looking at) to keep her head down. Having carefully read the 1.05 readme file, I was quite surprised at this demonstration of battlefield ADD. - The Dr.

I too have seen amazing feats of German arty accuracy. I have plastered away at a loose group of tanks for 5 or 6 turns without hitting a thing, and the other day (night, way night) I lost three pieces of armor in about 5 seconds to German arty. I actually considered treason....
