  1. I find a crew rush a very suitable tactic. I think that crews are underarmed. I love rushing people with lots of my tank crews. I expect my soldiers to fight wheter or not they still have their tank strapped on. Please give tank crews better guns. Maybe some smgs and hmgs and some better rifles. Maybe even make them snipers once they lose their tanks. I once again state I love crews they are insta-infantry!
  2. I bring with me to this hill top my trusty and dreaded, thrash's pakfront, and if the need arises may I strike down more of the trolls than mace's tanks in one turn of our pbem (4 to be exact *snicker snicker*). In the motto of my home state, United we stand, divided we fall. Trolls if you want this hill you'll have to pry it from my cold dead furry paws!
  3. What I've found effective for ambushes is to as said above and place a platoon close together deep in heavy woods, but what I do in addition to avoid the unpleasant artillery situation, is to place my ambush platoons in places where they have 1. Good cover, such as the deep woods approach since when you are in deep woods its hard for the enemy armor to get to you and their infantry doesnt see you till too late, with this approach I've wiped out up to 2 platoons in one turn with just one platoon useing this kind of ambush. 2. I place them where they can move to an alternate position with a minimal amount of exposure that is atleast 100m away from the original position so as to avoid the brunt of enemy artillery. 3. Have another platoon(s) in overwatch of the ambush platoon, you might be able to pull off a second ambush with your overwatch platoon(s) if the enemy tries to flank your main ambushing platoon.
  4. In the game, there are two disctint types of enclosures for fixed positions, the Pillbox which is the concrete emplacement for the mg, 75mm and 88mm guns. Then there is the MG Bunker made from wood, I beleive that it is this bunker that BTS is refering to, as before the patch these wooden emplacements were taking naval gunfire direct hits and shruging it off, and after the patch I have seen several of these wooden *BUNKERS* knocked out by artillery of various calibers down to 155mm. You have to remember that there is a distint difference in a pillbox and a bunker in the game.
  5. Heavy caliber artillery can take out a bridge with a few rounds, you might testto see how many rounds it takes, and then edit the FO for that, giving him the amount of rounds needed.
  6. I'm really new to this kinda thing and my skills arent that great but I do love to pbem I prefer quick battles, any size, I play either side, any conditions, any time period, I will do attack, assault, probe, and meeting engagement, I can attack or defend. I can do 1-3 turns a day, I am a new player so I need someone with patience in putting up with many mistakes of their opponent. my email is Belisirius@townsqr.com
  7. Hehehe I was playing an all armor QB as the germans, and I had 6 KT's and 2 Jagdtigers, and several kublewagens to spring ambushes with, my opponented ended up having M18's and churchills and fireflys and pershings, and I rushed all my armor in a wave and he hit them from the flank and I lost all my KT's in the first 6 turns to weak penetration shots from his m18's, I think he may have been useing T rounds, those are awesome if he was. next time I'm going to try an all KT force purely and see if I do better
