  1. Thanks again - I think i'm going to order some of those books. How about good websites for WW2 info (weapons, units, etc)? Any thoughts on that?
  2. Thank You for the quick reply and suggestion. I must say that the CM "community" is a refreshing change from some of the Chat Forums for the FPS I mentioned above
  3. Well I have been assimilated over to CM since last week when I received my copy of the full version. I LOVE THIS GAME. Trouble is my past gaming experience is limited to (Modern-Day) First Person Shooters such as Counter-Strike, SWAT3, Rogue Spear, etc. and I am not as familiar with the weapons/items/units found in WWII. Do any of you hard-core WW2 "fans" have any website and/or book recommendations for a newbie who is trying to bone up of his knowledge of WW2? I think it is a tremendous credit to CM that I enjoy so much without knowing exactly (visually in my mind)what guns are being used by which units and such, but now I find that I WANT TO KNOW MORE. Please help me out if you can
  4. Just wanted to take a moment to congratulate the makers of Combat Mission (CM) on a job very well done. This is coming from a computer game player who mostly plays first person shooters (Counter-Strike, FireArms, etc) and never has even tried a war/strategy game in the past (please keep your snide anti-FPS remarks to yourself please). I read two glowing reviews of CM in PC Gamer and CGW and was intrigued enough to download the demo yesterday. I was blown away by how fun it was and proceeded to spent about 8 hours straight playing it (which did not make the wife too happy). Anyway I just wanted to say GREAT GAME and I'm ordering a copy of the full version right now!
