I would like to thank you for running the Joust as I enjoyed myself.

Merry Christmas guys and thanks for making my wife a CM widow

I have seen a platoon leader take out a tank without bundle charges or AT weapons. Not sure what he did.
Again another situation where the tank had no supporting infantry any where near him.
-
I had the luck of taking out 5 T-34 in a tourney game with Panzer Grenardiers, but the situation was alot of factories. I was mounted in HT so my infantry was able to get into position first and the Russians had to cross an open area to get at final two victory flags. Unable to bring his infantry with him I was able to do considerable damage to his armor forces
Of course I was forced to use my infantry in an AT role, because his plane took out 2/3 of my armor in the first couple of turns

There's a girl on staff?

I hope water, that be a nasty suprise full of fuel and getting hit with them on top of the turret.Originally posted by rleete:Redwolf, those are Jerry cans. Fuel or water.

Nice pictures, they provide plenty of light there for pictures.
Of course I wish Bovington wasn't so far from the USA too

Well I didn't read all 11 pages of this, so if someone's already mentioned this sorry.
Just played a scenario with a 150 mm gun in a trench doing fairly well, but could see that it was only a matter of time before I was going to be overrun by an infantry and armor push. So my crew and it's supporting infantry are taken prisoner with the gun intact with around 20 rounds left.
Figure in real life the crew would try to destory the the gun and ammo and retreat to the next defense line. Would be nice for an option to be able to abandon the gun and try to blow up the ammo dump. Wouldn't always work and could use a random count down clock once you give the order so you're not sure if and when it's going to blow up.

Well I must not be passing the course then with my recordOriginally posted by foamy:but in the end it is a game and not an army training project.

Ok did you agree to that in advance of the set-up? If not oh well live and learnOriginally posted by Poor Old Spike:Jaws, you are gamey! You KNEW my T-34/76's wouldn't be able to frontally penetrate your Stug IIIF(lates),yet you still bought them. I NEVER buy them, because I prefer games where the tanks are equal and fair, that's why so many people enjoy playing me,because I play with decency and honour, and will NEVER pull cheap tricks on them!
Oh I think we'll be able to tell...you're the only one I know who uses the  symbol after most of their postsOriginally posted by Poor Old Spike:However,I shall no doubt resurface somewhere or other, but not necessarily with the same handle! Watch out,I'll be back!

If you can't find/get one in the UK, then one of us in the rest of the world won't mind talking to you about it.Originally posted by mike8g:Lou,
just ask anybody from the member list (one with a "yes" in the sponsor column), preferably one within your time zone.
I'm pretty sure he will be pleased to help you.

You know I'd have to agree with that now.Originally posted by xerxes:Kilroy was right.
If this was joke POS this would be one thing, but trolling is not a way to win fans.
PS. No I'm not one of the good players and have no interest in a game.

You forgot the smiley at the end of that postOriginally posted by Poor Old Spike:As regards allegations that I have a "Messiah complex",its definitely not true, just ask any of my multitude of disciples in RD.
I'm only sorry that BoB will miss out on being able to marvel at my awesome tactical powers which would have rubbed off on them,as it is written:-"Use your God-given gifts to serve others." (1 Peter 4:10)

Oh I don't worry about you. Kilroy would have to protect me from myself to keep from losingOriginally posted by Poor Old Spike:So to all the players in BoB I regret we won't meet on the field of battle because of your bosses wish to protect you from me!
After a Good 10 game run in CM:BB at BoB, am I now getting my butt handed to me in my 6 current games....but it's still fun.

Gee will have to go to the local EB and see if anyone turned one in. At that price I'd get a second copy to loan to people.
Of course I only know of one other person here in Monroe, MI that plays and I know he isn't turning in his copy either.

I'm getting 4 plus hours to DL with DSL. Think I'll pass until things settle down some, but thanks anyway.

Because alot of "crazy" men do make history. History is full of nutters (which isn't the same as being stupid) coming to power and just causing a mess of thing.Originally posted by Schoerner:But before the winner's propaganda is critically questioned, even intelligent people prefer to believe in "crazy" men making history, no matter how ridiculous the propaganda is.
If Hilter was "forced" into attacking Russia then he was led blindly into the trap uncle Joe set for him then

Bet he was shocked at that kill rate too.Originally posted by Bone_Vulture:It was a 1250 Axis probe, with unrestricted troops, thus I could purchase fortification paraphenilia. The map was set on a foggy farmland in the morning, with medium trees.
I was quite unconfident of the battle's outcome, so I decided to go for overkill. Although my opponent controlled the plains with a pack of armored cars, the outrageous infantry casualties yeilded a minor victory for meh.

Nice garden pics there. What grass mod are you using?Originally posted by SFJaykey:OK, screenshots are up at my briefcase....I don't think there'll be _too_ much interest

There are a large number of online players. You can pick up a game here in the opponent forumor look into one of the many CM clubs to join and find foes.
Band of Brothers is the club I belong to (http://webandofbrothers.de/index.htm) and there are many more out there.
Again as others stated depending on your finances and tastes you'll want to pick up what suits your tastes. I would recommend getting CMBB and/or CMAK over CMBO if you are not going to get all 3 games.
