  1. Warren is right. Playing CM on a brand-new iMac is a real pain. I am surprised, that no one at Apple knew about it, since I posted this bug several times to Apple Germany.

    Also, it is time for BTS and ATI to come around with a real working solution for it. Unless this solution comes, I can no longer recommend buying CM and the following for iMac users (brand new ones).

    Diabled the ATI Driver update extension, rebooted and CM works good.

    Only disadvantage is to rebbot all the time when using other applications due to reactive hardware acceleration. Otherwise great !

    Problem was caused by the latest ATI drivers supplied by Apple (version dating July 2000; german version MacOS 9.04)

    No, just tried every option with my new DV SE / 500 and it doesn´t work. Still having no info´s in all the boxes. Hope ATI figures it out really soon. Playing w/o info´s really sucks ...
