Yes, I still order wood pulp-based game magazines. The review will probably hit the their Web site sometime, I imagine. ------------------ Karl Kindt Ecclesiastes 5:19 www.karlkindt.com
 2. You guys at Big Time are living up to your name, because you have hit it. Computer Gaming World gave you 5 stars out of 5. They put in some great screenshots. If you thought you were selling out fast before...you better DOUBLE your inventory and quick. ------------------ Karl Kindt Ecclesiastes 5:19 www.karlkindt.com

I am using the GeForce card, but I had to cycle through every single possible resolution/refresh rate combination for my Voodoo card before it got to the GeForce card. It runs like lightning with all detail pumped up on the GeForce (3D Prophet to be exact).

Getting everything down the way gamers want it (and cross-platform to boot) will be time consuming.

I do not think the cross-platform issue will be a problem. I have copied saved game files from my Mac to play on my PC, and vice versa, and I have never had a problem.
 5. I played the demo yesterday and bought the game online an hour later. I am sold. What a great game! I have two buddies who will buy it if I can play with them via TCP/IP (I am trying to get them to buy it anyway...they probably will, but we will use the TCP/IP like CRAZY). We only have an hour or two to play at one time, so CLOSE COMBAT has been great. I love COMBAT MISSION, but it would be so much greater with TCP/IP play. There is a huge segment of CLOSE COMBATers who are going to only buy it if it has this. These are the new guys, naturally, not old game players like me who remember EMPIRE's PBM...yes, play by mail, that is snail mail. Gee--I am only 33 but I feel so old now. ------------------ Karl Kindt Ecclesiastes 5:19 www.karlkindt.com
