If its an all fronts entire war campaign it would be fantastic...
I would have to fit on several CD's however...and would take several years to program ...
But it would be well worth it...

I agree,,, A dam fine actor...
I loved him in "Lawrence of Arabia" that movie is just great... Something about the desert...
I really liked his fake teeth in "The Lady Killers" when he says to Herbert Lom... "Nervous Louie" I just cracked up at his devilish smile...
Truly a great great loss... Makes me wanna go and buy all of his films on DVD to remember him in style...

As I do not have the full CM version yet I wanted to know...
How big are the maps in the full game...
How big can they get... e.g. how many times bigger than that of the "VALLEY of TROUBLE" map in the demo???
I would like a decent big map that you can move your forces on without having to fight all the time... e.g. enjoy watching a column of tanks move around for a while instead of seeing them scatter in the first 5 turns...

It's just that certain people have taken past posts of mine far too seriously and have hit back at me,,, and my Grandfather in particular... As he was in the 8th SS Kavallerie Division "Florian Geyer"
Based on this they called me a NAZI for defending my Grandfather... DAAAA Go figure

For a desert campaign you would want huge maps... As the desert in parts is very flat and the moment you press go... BAM one big shooting gallery with no LOS problems to worry about...
And I do realise there were very hilly terrain types in north Africa...

Is this why we pay taxes to get bombed by our own airforce...

As I am still awaiting my copy of CM,,,could you enlighten me with regards to...
*Can you tell the AIR SUPPORT who and where to attack... e.g. that pesky bugger of a Tiger that is holding up your advance in a built-up area...

I was playing "VALLEY OF TROUBLE" in the DEMO as the Germans...
My Panther was destroyed {brewed-up} by what seems to have been an arty-smoke round through the top of the turret... WEIRD!!!
There were no more Shermans left that could have done it nor were there any American infantry anywhere near where the panther was...
For the record the panther was situated just behind the church on the raised terrain...
Can anyone shed any light as to what may have happened...

Well 2 weeks to the day and I have finally got my copy here in Melbourne Australia...

I havent even played it yet, but trust me I will... Im thinking of taking the day off UNIVERSITY tomorrow just to play it...
