I start a game.....save it at a point that I am satisfied with E.g. That i am in positions of cover and able to DEFEND easily. BUT when I load up the game again...the PC has placed the trees in different positions.... So I had men in cover under a tree and now I dont.... Every time I reload it the trees are in a new POSITION..... Is this a glitch/problem or is it part of the game we have to accept... YOUR THOUGHTS PLEASE....

I have played nearly all the scenarios/campaign battles...... and not once has a fighter plane appeared..... I heard one in the WITTMAN game but not strafing attack was made.... It has gotten to the piont where I am almost willing the American planes to come and BOMB me as I wan to see what its like...... JABOS where are you??? any ideas......at least 1 should have appeared by now.....THEORETICALLY...

It is really frestrating having this useless piece of wooden ****E sitting under a bridge at a 45 degree angle facing down hill and did i mention *TOTALLY USELESS* please fix it.....

As far back as the second bridge....my second WOODEN pillbox is shown to be in the BRIDGE..... YES....in the bridge....under and in it... I cant move it....and its useless where it is...... HELP PLEASE

I have seen many of them at CMHQ but I am unsure at whether they are actually much better than what comes with the game... I wast to know a SPOT-ON srategy that lets your AT or AP guns last more than 5 turns without incurring the WRATH of ARTILLERY and getting blown to hell... As well, and im not sure how often it was done but were there not gun houses/barns etc... Should'nt we be able to place our guns in certain houses or barns etc... for more protection and AMBUSH capabilities..??? Im mean just because it was enabled in the CC series does'nt have to mean it should be in this game...All im saying is if it was in fact a common or rare occurance to warrant it being in this game.....??? I always play as the GERMANS.... Lets say im defending at "CARETAN"? not matter how good I repell the AMERICANS I always have to start further back on the map when the next day/turn comes E.g. I defend a cross roads, I inflict heavy casualties on the AMERICANS who beat a hasty retreat...I lose hardly anyone and yet when it comes time for me to set up in the next battle I am unable to place my units in at the cross-roads... I DEFENDED IT....I DIDn't LOSE IT....HOW COME I CANNOT STAY IN THOSE DEFENSIVE POSITIONS..... I get pushed further back to ****TY harder to defend positions....?????? EXPLAIN THAT ???

It is a small village and would be great for those who love small tactical ATTACK/DEFENCE

Well if the loss of life on the Stricken sub "KURSK" is total then its through no fault but their own... I feel sadness at what has happened,,, to the sailors and their families,... HOWEVER,,, bloody Russian politician's who can't just swallow their pride and ask for help pisses me off... And not having a decent rescue sub of their own is just insane... If anyone here has seen this film then they would know what I am talking about... It has MICHAEL CAINE and DONALD SUTHERLAND in it... I think it would be great to re-create the battle at the village between the American RANGERs & GERMAN Fallshirmjagers... The Germans have been dropped into a british town disguised as Polish paras... They are there to Assassinate CHURCHILL... they are found out and have a shootout with the RANGERS.... The RANGERS have Jeeps and one HMG Halftrack The Fallshirmjagers have only their guns by the way there is only "18" german paras... I AM PLAYING AS THE GERMAN {of course} AND THE BRITISH PARATROOPERS BASICALLY DO NOTHING TO CAPTURE THE BRIDGE... AFTER THE FIRST DAY THEY SIT FAR BACK ON THE MAP AND DO BUGGER ALL... the rest of the scenario is boring really... AND DID THEY REALLY HAVE ACCESS TO ARTILLERY{the poms} AT ARNHEM AS THEY POUNDED THE FAR END OF THE BRIDGE WHERE ALL MY HIGH-RANKING staff were... sorry about the CAPS I just realised...DOh! ------------------ Quote. If im not mistaken were there not more tanks than I am getting as reinforcements ??? 2-3 stugs for the whole friggen campaign... 3 days... I played the full 3 ops of this battle... I knocked out 77 Allied vehicles... And lost only 5 myself... 1 TIGER 4 Mk-IV's I heard a plane for quite a while but it did not attack,,, well if it did I didn't know about it... It sounded distant as if it was circling... And I finished the game in under the required amount of moves and left much of VILLAS-BOCAGE in ruin, not that it wasn't a dump before I started... CHEERS... ------------------ Quote. Y'now when the two SS officers come out of the brown building and are walking down the steps... The one on the right is a "SS-Sturmbannfuhrer" However when COWBOY starts to ring the bell and the two SS officers are looking up at the bell tower... The SS officer in question has dropped in rank to "SS-Untersturmfuhrer" One minute his accompanying SS buddy is a lower rank and the next he is a higher rank... He put the wrong uniform on during a cut in filming HA HA... Also why the hell would you have three TIGERS wasting away guarding some ****ty bank instead of scaring the hell out of allied tankers or getting the crap blown out of them by the RAF or Americans... ------------------ Quote. I am playing as the Germans in the "VILLAS BOCAGE" scenario and I have to say that it is amazingly easy... I must have wiped out nearly 100+ vehicles with the loss of 2 of my MK-IVH'... The Tiger tank rules the battlefield in this op... Even against Firefly's they knock them out easily... Im guessing had it no been for the overcast weather the AMIS air power would have had a significant say in the outcome of this scenario... By the way, those "Tigers" in Saving Private Ryan were actually T-34's dressed up to look like Tiger tanks... Look very carefully at the tracks and you will see that it is in fact a T-34...
