does anyone else think sandbags and trenches would be a useful adition to the game? They could come under the fortifications tab when picking units and they could possibly be purchased in terms of feet, say 10 feet of trench or sandbags for however many points? just a helpful idea, i'm sue i'm not the first. I think the game is absolutely wondeful!! Except for the memory leak problem... see below... one of the best games i've ever played. Also.. the title is Comabt Mission:Beyond Overlord. Does this mean there may be a Comabt Mission:Something Else in our future... god knows i'd buy it if there is!

What is VT artillery the allies get in the later months, is it variable timing, it seems that it explodes in the air instead of on the ground, is this the point?

I have had all the same problems, I have an Athlon 800, 192 megs of ram and a Voodoo3 3000. I cant play the game for more than 2 turns without the graphics going totally nuts, the game is practically unplayable and i am very frusrated, does anyone know of anything to do besides a new graphics card, i have the 1.04 drivers. I di get the memturbo and have run it, but there is no change in the problem HELP!

I have CM with an 800 MHz athlon and a Voodoo II 3000. I have a graphics problem where the graphics deteriorate ending up in blocky, brown and yellow squares, making the game unusable. There was a thread where many other users had the same problem, all with Voodoo II 2000, 3000, or 3500. Most of the systems seemed to be athlon as well. I have the 1.04 drivers for my card, and the smae problems seemed to occur with the 1.05, according to the thread. Has anyone found a sloution to this problem, it makes the wonderful game absolutely unusable on my system. help apreciated!!

I just bought CMBo and I love it, but I dont know much about the different armor types etc. I am a huge airplane fan (and pilot) and so I know a ton about that but not about armor, can anyone recommend a good reference type book with WWII armor in it so I can play the game better? thanks!

I have CMBO version 1.2, got it yesterday. AFter a few minutes of playing normally, the whole map turns brown or gray, the units turn black, and everything becomes undecipherable? I am running an Athlon 800 with a 3dfx voodoo 3000 graphics card, please help!!
