  1. I think that would be very cool if tanks could engage multiple tragets. ie. a seperate targeting command for the turret/maingun and the hull machine gun. then maybe tanks wouldn't seem to ignore your orders to target enemy tanks and put priority on harmless (to tanks) machine guns.
  2. I have 2 books both with information on the Panzer Maus (moose). I was a super-heavy tank which weighted 185 tons. I have tons of stats on it (how much armour and where, performance, dimensions etc.) ** The panzer maus never saw active service though, only 2 not 4 were completed and were in trials with 9 more underconstruction. The finished 2 only made it to the testing phase and were destroyed by the germans themselves in April 1945 before the soviets could capture them. Ps. The Maus IS just a pillbox on wheels it could make only 7mph cross-country, 12.5 mph on roads and needed a seperate trailor to tow its 15cm (154 lb) shells.
  3. I agree that the AI of tanks sometimes leaves something to be desired. When I tell a STUG to target a Sherman thats just 200m away (or less) but I have no LOS on. I want my tanks to not totally disregard my order and focus of some machine gone team 300m. The tank can hurt me not the machine gun. I think that the problem is the AI only targets the threats it can see totally at that immediate ponit in time. It has no patience. I actually only posses the demo (mac) v. 1.02D and am waiting for my full version of CM to come in the mail. Maybe its y troops only being "green" or "regular" that makes them unable to ignore minor threats.
