Head and Shoulders? What are you talking about? The poor guy needs directions to the nearest supermarket - he needs some breakfast cereal badly.

Either that or he thinks we're all a bunch of flakes. Maybe he's right....

  3. OK... I've searched the forums in vain for a vehicle list for CMAK, CMBB, and CMBO. I've clicked on some of the suggested links, and they're not functional. I'm not looking for a list of the bmp's, simply a listing of all the vehicles in each of the games. Maybe if someone could just copy and paste them onto this post (even a list from just one of the games would be nice), instead of suggesting links to check out - that way the post won't grow old and die. Can anyone fill this request? Thanks!

  4. On map mortars work great against infantry. Obviously....

Now, how about against bunkers? Does anyone know what size mortar works and what does not? How about against pillboxes (no, right?) How about against scout cars? Half tracks? Light tanks? Heavier tanks? (I'm talking on board mortars, remember - you can take out anything with a 14 inch shell...) Tnx in advance for the responses.

  5. Sorry, I don't know if this question has already been asked and answered, but I'm wondering if there is consideration of doing a Combat Mission: Blitzkreig? This would involve Poland, France, and maybe a possible Sealion bit. Is anyone interested or does anyone want to pop my bubble? :D

  6. I am interested in using the SM regiment for a scenario on Malta; to save myself a little research, I was wondering if anyone has any quick websites or information on the unit, or if anyone knows if it was used in any AK scenarios so I could look at how it was represented in these scenarios.

And, yes, this whole post is just one long sentence.

Hey Major I just noted your membership number

[slap] with all the experience you've had at PLAYING scenario I think you'd could do a good one. Lots of help around too. </font>

I have really enjoyed these two scenarios particularly:

    Line of Defense

    The Melfa Bridgehead

Now, here are my questions. As far as Line of Defense goes, are there any scenarios of the same caliber - good replayability, not too large, an interesting offensive with many lines of approach, good tanks, but not too many, overall constant movement in the scenario? Also, are there any scenarios of the same idea but with the sides "switched" - i.e. German offensive against Allied prepared defenses?

Then, the Melfa Bridgehead: are there any scenarios this size with the same complex defense to it, interesting movement, very intricate mapboard, and variety of units, etc. (Sorry, this one might be rather vague, but if you've played it I think you'll know what I mean.)

Also, just remembered: Wiltz was a lot of fun as well - a direct attack by the German player with enought strategy to make it interesting, and no real game throwers that if you don't do on the first turn you are dead. Any more like this one?

    Thanks! :D

Major Belle, glad you liked Melfa, I must ask which enemy you found the most dangerous, the ATG, SPs or tanks?

For larger more complex battle I would recommend:

    Small Battles, decision at Juvarra

    Tough decisions to be made

    Small Battles, the three daughters

cracking an in depth German defense

    Small Battles, Sigh Bridge

British must clear a blocked bridge while holding of the Jerries, cross, then blow the bridge

    Small Battles, Marubouai, Burma

Clear a fortified jungle ridgeline of fanatic Japanese Infantry

    Small Battles, Hussars at Medicina

A historic blood bath, a true armour 'charge'.

Small Battles, the Transvaal Scottish Hold!

Historic defense against a strong Italian counter-attack.

For operations I could recommend the existing Small Operations 'May 15th, 1940' and Small Operation Abu Agueila, 1956 which will come out tomorrow at the Scenario Depot.

He, he, he... Don't I wish! I would if I could but I am not able - I'm not good enough to design scenarios yet; maybe one of these years...
