It is possible that it was a sound contact.The tanks were grey in appearence with question mark on them.Does it matter?

I have seen tanks and vehicles do what you refer to.Bieng partially in a building.But what i saw was a tank,controlled by the ai drive straight through a building,not skirt around it but right through.I was on trench cam directly in front of the tank as it emergred from the middle of the building.I do not have it on one of the magnified settings.Is this a glitch?Is it my cpu?Or a special ai only secret weapon.Like laser guided mg bullets in close combat?

I have had a similar problem with the movie. In fact the opening movie has never played.I once tried it from the folder but it ran without sound.I do not have problem with other movies.I don`t know why.

Is sufficient enough to just copy the new patch from a created temp folder and paste it over the old version of the game in the cmbo file?I have been doing this all along.On the opening screen it usually shows the numbers for the new patch.

Recently i was playing the recapture of Paris by the French.I am not sure of the exact name of the particular battle so please forgive me.Anyhow,I was playing as the germens.I witnessed several AI Shermen tanks moving through buildings.Not around but straight through.I was under the impression that tanks could not go through buildings in the game.I tried doing it myself but was mnot allowed. Has anyone else seen this happen?Is this normal?

schrullenhaft, I have a gigibyte Super 7 motherboard with a alladin chipset.Where can i get bios updates for this.I did download the new drivers for the sound card.

One more thing BTS.I have Windows 98.I video crd has no problems with weather.Fog,rain etc.I have noticed that the lockups happen more often with the v 1.01 patch.Is this a clue?

I have done eveything but nothing works.I get lockups during battles.During all phases.When the lockups happen i find that if i hit the enter key i can exit the game.Is this normal?The lockups can happen anywhere from 1 turn to 5 turns even 50 turns into a game.Then it might lockup 3 times in a row.All times while in battle.All times i am able to exit the game by hitting enter.No other keys will work.My cpu does not lockup it is just the game.I have tried reinstalling the game several time.I have tried reinstalling the v 1.01 patch.I have downloaded all new drivers for my video card,and my mouse.I have directx 7a. I have a 450 mhz cpu AMDK6-2.128 bit creative labs sound blaster.A viper 550 3d graphics card AGP with 16 meg of ram.48 speed cd-rom. Is my video card overclocked?I dont know.How would i check that?I do not have the latest drivers for my sound card.Would that make much of a difference?DO i have a bad copy of the game?What do i do now?This is one of the best games i have ever played!This problem is really taking the enjoyment away from the game.I also have tried reinstalling the drivers for the video card.I have the INVIDEA drivers at this time.

Sorry for the spelling error.I also wanted to say that i never had a problem with the gold demo.But when i play the game now, i might be able to play for 5 turns without a lock up or 50 turns,Then it might do it 3 times in a row.

I feel your pain.For i to have had many a lockup with the game.I also have tried reinstalling everything from drivers to the game and the patch several times.What next?I have got no real answers from BTS.I will just have to plat it through.Could it be the copy of the game?

Will this game run on a computer without a 3D card??I relize that it is one of the requirements,I am curious though.

First of all i like to tell you what type of system i have.A 450 mhz AMD K6-2,A viper550 3d card with 16 meg memorey AGP,latest drivers installed.64 meg of SDRAM.128 bit soundblaster pci.Super7 motherboard.directx 7a When i first installed the game i also installed the V1.01 patch.I had nothing but lockups of the game and my cpu.I checked my drivers for the video card.I cheked the settings for it to.I cheked direct x and the settings.I checked my monitor as well.Played around with the resolution.Still lockups in all phases of battle.It only lockups during battles not anywhere else.I uninstalled tje game and played without any problems for a few days.This was without the patch installed.I decided to try the game with the patch.It worked okay with a few hangups but no lockups.GREAT!Now i decided to make a battle with the editor.I get lockups once again with the battle i made.And the pre made battles/campaigns.I have had no problems with fog or smoke or rain. What is happening??

Does the gold demo actually have these new smoke capabilities?And the the new explosion graphics?Or do i have to wait for the game to come out to see.I have a Viper550 3d card with 16 meg of ram,AGP.
