Well being an Axis oppenent I must say my German iron burns as well as Allied steel. I have Pz IVs killed by greyhounds, I have had Panthers killed by M5 Stuarts, (you know what a pisser that is). So even 37mm is effective with side or flank shots. I don't purchase Tigers much but it seems the 2 times I have, that I still have not had 1 make it through the whole battle yet. I am dying to use a King Tiger just to see if it could hold its own against 3 or 4 M4s. I find that my cheap STU IIIs do the lions share of my armor work & the big $ armor has some drawbacks.
1. Cost -Pz VIb, Pz VI, Pz V, & JagdPanther all are +175pts
2. Slow Turret or No Turret!
3. Cost
And as far as Infantry goes I see no advantage with the Axis. The Allied company comes with support, ie zooks, mortars & Axis has to buy shricks & mortars. Just my 2¢.

Well Hellcat is fast for sure, but at the cost of armor. I just whacked two zipping around my flank in PBEM. They do have to stop if they want to hit something. It seems I always have STU III around, a great bang for the buck. Just my 2¢

I think if Matt can make a dime or two from running his site, more power to him, (the marketplace will weed out the weak & gouger's.) So If you think you will do better or be more fair, go for it, start your own. Right now Matt has the best CM site. You're free to use it, you're free to not use it, that's it, stop ragging. Well just killed Jumbo in PBEM QB with 88mm from a Jagd Panther @ 522m head to head in a hull down 1st hit 3rd shot, I got a lower hull penetration & she cooked off.
The Jumbo got also 3 shots off & 3 hits 2 ricochets 1 track hit boy I was lucky.Big Dog

Well guys, a nice American micro brew when it's hot, or with a good Mexican dinner. But I prefer a fine California Zinfandel or a silky Pinot Noir & after that A cigar and a glass of Vintage Port from Portugal to cap it off.

I am in both CMHQ & RDCM ladders. I think RDCM has a better system for picking up opponents, I have no problems getting games. The CMHQ ladder has a better scoring system but it's kinda porked right now. Once it's fixed, I will like the way the scoring is calced out better on CMHQ , but it's harder to set up games. Just my 2¢

How about geting toasted by a Typhoon
. I had a great pincer working, a pair of STUIII, Puma & a platoon of mounted PNZ Grnd on 1 flank, and pair PNZR IV, Puma & a platoon of mounted PNZ Grnd on the second flank. About turn 5 the Typhoon drops his eggs missed the STUIII & Puma by 50 yrds but immoboilizes both at points that do no freakin good to me. Then the Bastard comes back every other turn & knocks out the rest of my armor short 1 STUIII. Boy that sucked
