  1. When I used a 200% increase on forces in the Allies side in Citadel, I found that one of the independent tanks had a command line, black, to other independent tank. I got it twice. I will test it from Axis side now.

Also, it's really nice that giving a Hiding order to a selected group of troops no longer reverses the status of previously hidden troops.

Can both sides win the war in CMMC? If so, what happens, when the enemy beats you - you get reinforcements, or you're out of the campaign?

Details pls. I could not find anything at www.cmmc2.org just under contruciton pages (noted or not).

    thx

oh, even if cmmc exist, we could conduct a separate campaign, like we stated before. m.

The scale of CMMC I was roughly 2 Corps fighting each other. A lot less than a whole WWII Campaign. But even that scale was a nightmare of management, with more than 100 players and around 10 to 15 GMs, especialized software (COCAT), etc.

If you want to do a realistic Campaign covering all the war, be ready for a life commitment.

I rather would like to see you remove that sig.

    Very friendly asked for now.

The sig really upsets you? Seems more a satyrical remark on the stupidity of such statement than a real grip with the Dutchs, IMHO. You can replace Dutch with any country and it keeps being satyrical. (Unless you replace it with USA. In such case you automatically becomed an Euro-pinko USA-hater).

    Check, check, and check.

I'm still pinned down mid-way in Yelnia Stare on turn 14.

*Six* T-34s won't even get a single German squad or MG team to put their heads down. Fire of all units is virtually ineffective, and no matter how much trouble a German squad makes, it never become more than a sound contact. What gives?

    Patience.

If you are mid-way in the attack in turn 14, you are doing it better than you think.

  5. I just experimented a bit on Yelnia.

    Some things first:

    - Assault is a movement that implies Fire and Cover, not an all for it tun to the objective. Conscripts aren't trained enough to do it properly, as they can't use Cover Arcs.

    - Human Wave works better for short distances. I don't know what kind of bonus it gave, but the Conscripts keep advancing, breaking wave after wave, but slowly advancing.

    - If you tries it from long distance, the minimal suppresive fire you get, break all your attack at once.

So, I think the way to use it, from only one experience attacking against the AI at Yelnia, is to have several layers of Conscripts troops doing Human Wave turn after turn, with some HQs with good Moral bonus behind them.

The first wave do nothing. The second put your force 20 meters away. The third gives you 50 meters more... Meanwhile, the first and second are recovering as they can for maybe 5 to 8 minutes, when you can start it again. But this time facing even less suppresive fire (assuming you were using your tanks and Green and regular troops for something more than Human Waves themselves).

A crude tactic, but eventually works... Took me 22 turns to make the AI surrender...

    Defense now really works...

The only real reason you could have for copying the CD is to, ermmm, do naughty things with it.

    Steve

Not necessarily. I have a backup copy of CMBO and I have the original in a so safe place that I don't remember where it is... Also, I did a Disk Image, so I didn't even use the backup.

All this because I think is a bit expensive for both, producer and consumer, to send me a copy because my own negligence. And also because I don't want to wait a month or more for a new CD.

Assuming that is there isn't a God, Him never was, is against your own logic to claim preferences, according to the first paragraph from the initial post.

Oh, my Lord!!! I get the bold!!!!
