  1. I'm curious. What battles would you like to see portrayed using this magnificent gaming engine? Remember, you are limited for the moment to Western Europe, June-44 thru May-45. Oh, there is plenty there, though, more than enough to begin. Any particular conflicts you'd like to be able to fight again so as to relive a little history? Even if they don't make it in the initial release, they could come out later as scenarios or operations. ------------------ Dirctor of Scenario Design, The Gamers Net
  2. Indeed, Craig, they seem very attentive to the desires of the gaming community. It shows in their products. Wild Bill ------------------ Dirctor of Scenario Design, The Gamers Net
  3. You're blessed, Richard, I retired the first of this year at 62 (yep, 62..wouldn't know it to look at me, would you -G)? Enjoy it. Enjoy it to the max. I lived in Costa Rica for nearly two years during my nine year stint in Central America. Perfect climate (except for the rainy season) beautiful women, cheap everything, it's a great spot for a vacation. Be sure and visit the beaches on both coasts. The Pacific is the best. Sorry guys, this post got me in a nostalgic mood....WB
  4. I try to be where the action is, even if I'm a little late, Fionn. Besides, if you're there, its gotta be good... Wild Bill ------------------ Dirctor of Scenario Design, The Gamers Net
  5. Hey Kip! Scenario length is at the option of the scenario designer. Occasionally a shorter time frame is used to force one player to take chances. This is often done since that side may have a preponderance of forces that with enough time could simply sit back and pound the opponent to death. Being pushed causes the stronger side to have to do things with urgency. This is not altogether unrealistic. In history commanders were often urged to "get moving," "take that hill," "you're holding up the battalion," etc. It can be a good tool, if properly used. Once one gets the feel for it in CM, it can be used well. Wild Bill ------------------ Dirctor of Scenario Design, The Gamers Net
