Even if the AI didn't succeed, it would not seriously damage you probably, and draw enemy to where the attack is going on, and less to your troops. Again I don't know if the AI, or CPU can handle it. But it would be fun. -TrekkerCC
  2. First off, I have been enjoying CM1 since getting it in the mail yesterday. I been fooling with the scenario editor, and wondering in C1 patch or CM2, a trench tile would be added. While I have fooled around with other options on producing a good looking trench, not of these seems realistic to me. I would like an addition of a trench terrain tile that would look like, and act like a trench. I just think a depression of 20m by 20m(which is the standard "terrain" tile paint thing)is a little to large to look like a trench. If this could be added in a later patch, or in CM2, that would be great. Another feature I would like added, and then would probably be a CM2, or beyond feature, is let the AI control allied forces. Say your unit(company) is assigned to take an objective, but another unit(company from another regiment for instance) is assigned as well. You could have your forces and their forces coming from a different map edge trying to capture the objective. The AI would control the other company. If it wasn't too taxing to the CPU, or the AI, could something like this be rigged up. Options for the Scenario Designer maybe to designate what "objectives" the AI controlled allied forces go for. Maybe also a command boundry so that the computer controlled company won't mix with your troops..on the way of the objective. It would be kewl to do this, if it isn't too taxing on the AI, or CPU, or takes too much time to develop. -TrekkerCC
  3. Hi, I been lurking here for a long while, but posting for the first time. I have enjoyed Fionn and Martin AAR reports, and thank them for doing this battle. I do have a question about the game through, and don't know if it has come up yet. Let say you have a victory point say a house(maybe you would imagine it as a HQ), and the enemy takes it, can you assign values to the victory point location to simulate the effects of it being taken. Like maybe you lose some command and control functions, your morale might suffer. Can you use the editor to define those effects beforehand? Also a question on personalization of the game, I know you can assign your own names for troop leaders before the battle in the editor, but can you import your own pictures to assign to their names? -TrekkerCC
