  1. Hi! A very good example for the effectiveness of killing TC to make a tank nearly worthless, is the Finnish- Russian War. Finnish Snipers well hidden killed Russian TCs and make the Russian pay a high price for their attack, because many tanks were rendered worthless this way. BTW. I have another two "Woa"-moments in CM at the Riesenberg Scenario. First, everything seems to be quite, but then I hear the "button down"-Sound and wondered what hit me. Then I was shocked to see that the TC was killed. My tank crew also! SHOCKED! Very nice. This worrisome sniper killed my TC. Second, I drove a tank at full speed down the road straight into the village. He bypass the lurking infantery at the entrance, bypasses the first houses, then get killed by the 88'PaK. But the kinetic energy of the killed tank let him still drive 30 - 40m in a slight right-turn till he stands still. Very impressive! Greetings Shukov
  2. Hi! Thanks, I forgot the "length" of the shell. So the values should be ok. Here some infos on TNT: Quotation: Nuclear Weapons Frequently Asked Questions by Carey Sublette http://www.fas.org/nuke/hew/Nwfaq/Nfaq1.html Section 1.0 Types of Nuclear Weapons 1.3 Units of Measurement (...) trinitrotoluene(TNT) - a workhorse military explosive. (...) And the explosive force of TNT is not exactly a universal constant. The energy release is affected by such things as charge density, degree of confinement, temperature, and the reference end state of the explosion products. Energy outputs ranging over 980-1100 calories/g are reported. (...) Although chemical explosives release essentially all of their energy as kinetic or blast energy (...) Greetings Shukov
  3. Hi guachi! And now? There is still a big gab between the 17 and the 48 and 35 FP of the Tiger/StuG. And there is a inconsistence between 10 and 17 of the same 81mm Mortar. Greetings Shukov
  4. Hi all! I wonder if the blast firepower value of the german 81mm Mortar Observer in LD is correct. It is 10. The Tiger has 48, the StuG 35(?). I think blast firepower is the explosion power of a HE-Shell. So why is there a big different between the 81mm Mortarshell, the 88mm "Tiger"-shell and the 75mm "StuG"-shell? Or is this because it is only a 81mm Mortar Observer, and he is maybe carrying handgrenades? How to get CM in Germany? Will there be a english version, without the swastikas? The current version is not allowed to be sold in germany with the swastikas, it is illegal. I don't like translated foreign language games (for me, I'm German), I like the original games. Most time the producers "forget" to translate the patches, or don't make foreign language patches. This is highly frustrating. So I try to buy the originals. In the case of CM the current original game will not be sold in Germany. Any help? Greetings Shukov
