The new CMMOS for CMBO is completely different from what was at CMHQ. Get right of it. You will need CMMOS 4.05a from CM Mod Database and the rulesets stored there as well.
The old CMMOS mods at CMHQ were written using rules for CMMOS4.03 and they work differently.
There are new rulesets, new mods, including all the theater conversion mods.

now download ALL rulesets for CMMOS/CMBO and install them. Make sure you use the ones at CM Mod Database. Then in the configure tab switch from rulesets to mods and start installing.
Close and check out the rulesets, you will find mod icons. Click on them and you will be offered a menu that might include some options.
There are also advanced rules at the bottom at times. Click on these first and select which advanced rule, install, then on the matching rule at the top and install a second time for the mod to be totally installed

You can download the CMMOS version at CM Mod Database. I "enhanced" the new version to tempt you a bit.

DasNoogie, all these were uploaded to CM Mod Database. The Star Wars mod is in two separate pieces, infantry only, includes new weapon's sounds. If anyone ever does a terrain mod for exotic terrain let me know.

I have been wanting to get back to CMMOS work. I have a new job, field service. I spend the entire day driving around the cities fixing printers. By the end of the day I am worn out.
But I have downloaded some mods and have them "semi-done". Let have a look at the ones you mentioned.
I also want to start posting CMMOS work for CMBB. But later for that.

Are you using CMMOS4.05a or an older version?
I don't always check the forum, please feel free to contact me at home at

I got to admit that I am very eager to see what the game is going to look like.
Guys, you got to "feed the beast".

You can also wait a bit where I will post the following uniform mods:
Germans: 72
Russians: 44
Axis allies: 10
I did find out that one of the files I saved was corrupted during the move. The file still exists so no problem. But I have to check out each zip and make sure it is ok. I also have to make sure I didn't miss any.

MakiK_Impressive, now I did redo the ruleset for the Germans but the changes are merely cosmetic. If you have the ruleset loaded already there is no need to get the new one.
Which uniform mods do you want uploaded first? Germans/Russians/misc allies??

Well I do have several hundred meg of already done CMMOS mods for CMBB, many never seen, but when I asked which game to work on next the public asked for CMAK.
Right now I got a new job and I am driving around all day long, 500+ miles a week. By evening time I am too worn out to think about CMMOS work. However I can start tomorrow uploading CMBB starting with the rulesets, including a new German uniform one. I will have to refind some rulesets, when I got a new PC I seemed to have lost some of my files.

Alexoscar, thanks for the info. The Dell 9100 only graphics option is the 9100 card, either the 32 or 64 MB. I am rather stuck there.

OH, I did another search and AndrewTF's Cromwell is a beaut, no surprise there. It comes in several versions including Polish marking and camo'ed (green/black).

I am getting ready to purchase a laptop, a Dell 9100. It has a 64MB ATI Mobility Radeo 9700 AGP video card.
Can I assume that CM will work with this card?
Has anyone any experience that hints to some compatability issues with games and this card?

I found only two in CMMOS. One by AndrewTF and the other by PZVG. They can be downloaded by CM Mod Database. You can strip off the CMMOS aspect is desired.

I forgot some mods that I had worked up, German armor summer and winter.
I am posting them today and the CM Mod Database.

I was thinking maybe he should try that all day long day after day week after week and lets see how active he is. Then add on being on the receiving end of enemy weapons fire. Don't think the kid will be so tough.

I just tried to download a non-cmmos DD grass mod and it seems to work.
Now I did do all the mods I could find, including all of DD's work, for the CMMOS/CMBO revamp. It is available at CM Mod Database.

Soviet NKVD & Border Guard units
in Combat Mission: Barbarossa to Berlin
Posted
Sergei, I was once going to do a NKVD conversion of AndrewTFs Russian uniforms. Never finished it although I got some decent results.
I did find some interesting websites for the NKVD.
Try: http://members.tripod.com/~otlichnik/index2.html
Now one readme document I have mentioned NKVD divisions. For example the 5th, 10th and 13th NKVD rifle divisions fought to defend Kiev.
The units seem to follow the standard Sov model.
