DrZimmerman
I just downloaded the Linux version of DropTeam, but i can't join any Server. It tells me that the server is running a different version of DropTeam and after that message the sound is gone. I've also tried updating, but that doesn't solved my problem. Some wishes: - in the Options Screen i can't select my ALSA Soundcard, only Generic Hardware, would be great to have this option - when i select the Network button, it should make automagicaly a server refresh, not only then when i click in the server refresh button. ClaytoniousRex
The message says something like "The server does not match your version x.y.z". What is the x.y.z in your message, Doctor?
DrZimmerman
I've made some screenshots. I send them to support@tbgsoftware.com in a gzip archive. i also found this: theo@theo-1 DropTeam $ cat DropTeam.log CRITICAL: Missing Version.ini file - aborting CRITICAL: Looked for >../data/version.ini theo@theo-1 DropTeam $ cat data/version.ini 0.9.41 theo@theo-1 DropTeam $ it seems that SpaceVikings doesn't find the version.ini? ClaytoniousRex
Are you running by using the runClient.sh script? Are you running from the /bin subdirectory?
DrZimmerman
I'm running runClient.sh.
ClaytoniousRex
From your output above, it seems that we're looking at DropTeam.log in the DropTeam directory. Is there another DropTeam.log in the /bin subdirectory? What does it say?
