Couple of Multiplayer Questions

Matchstick

This looks extremely interesting (and it's great to see Battlefront widening the range of products they offer even further) but I have a couple of questions.

Firstly, the Features Page mentions using the AI to fill out Teams to any size, but would it be possible to put Human team up against a Pure AI team (eg a Co-op mode)

Secondly, will there be a dedicated server available for any or all of the platforms ?

You will be able to play all humans against all AI.

Just like other RTS on-line games, you will be able to pay for hosting of DropTeam on most game hosting services. We are currently working with several game hosting companies and they should have DropTeam listed as a game you can host.

DropTeam will run as a server on a Mac, Windows, or Linux. Most game hosting services will deploy DropTeam in Linux.

DropTeam will also run standalone on a Mac, Window, or Linux.

Any DropTeam server will allow connections from DropTeam on-line players regardless of the on-line players operating system. So a Linux based DropTeam server will accept DropTeam players running on Windows, Max and Linux.

DropTeam modes:

1) Standalone - (your computer only)

2) Server Only - (to host players)

3) Client Only - (you must connect to a server that is hosting)

4) Standalone and Server (you play and others connect to your computer which is also operating as a server. You need a powerful computer and a high speed internet connection to do this)

5) Direct play on a Lan. The Lan replaces the internet connection so, you can do 2,3, and 4 above.
