Time controls in non-PBEM multi-player

So I have no idea if this subject has any history, so I apologize if this has been brought up or answer before. 

So I'm one of those people who generally prefers WE-GO non-PBEM multiplayer. I can understand why some people prefer PBEM though. One advantage PBEM has is that you can rewind turns. You could do this in non-PBEM CMX1 as well. So I guess Im curious why you cant do this in CMX2 non-PBEM games, and if it could possibly be added in FBk.

It's 100% certain that it's not going to be in CM:FB. I'm not even sure it's feasible, down the line, given that it's effectively a real time game with an enforced Pause at the end of every minute and the command input interface disabled in the intervening minutes. Maybe in v4; probably not though, I'd guess.
