I downloaded fraps and oddly got better fps at "best" quality settings (varied between 14-60, averaged about 20). At "fastest" setting it varied between 7-30 and averaged about 10. My eyes work at about 5fps so it seemed good to me.

pele, I don't have a laptop, never have so it must have been someone else. The only other computer I've run it on has an 8800GTS and it seems the same. But, then, it's probably pretty much the same card.

I understand. I am running other new games with graphics maxed out without problems so I guess this game should be the same. Not really a problem for me, though.

I have a quad core intel and the 8800GTX card and I don't seem to be having problems but maybe I just don't know what perfect it. How do you find the frame rates so I can compare?

Vista Home premium. I have tried all settings and it starts to lag when the settings are at high quality. Seems to run fine at improved settings with anti-aliasing on or off and vert syn on or off. It only seems to be a problem when the quality settings are at their highest 2 levels.

CMBB does not run right and I experience the same reported problems.

It plays as I would expect. No lag, normal framerate, graphics seem normal.

Thought I'd let you know that I built a new computer with Vista Home Premium OS and an nVidia 8800GTX and the game seems to run fine. The driver number is 7.15.11.5824 released 4/26.

Maybe this has been posted but has anyone noticed that if there is a bomb crater in a paved road that the lines on the road go down into the crater? Like the lines were painted after the bomb hit? Is this going to be corrected in 1.03 or is do the Syrians actually renew the paint after a bomb strike?

On one occasion I had one soldier from each side in a small room staring at each other through the whole round. I tried moving mine around to see if they would do anything. Sometimes I think this type of thing adds to the realism, they probably decided it was just the 2 of them so why not play cards.
