And suggest also moding T60 (20mm gun) as polish TK3 also armed with 20mm gun. Well, I used Romanians 37mm bofors gun an machine guns as polish which were same or similar. On September 1st 1939, at 0500, the German Tenth Army of the Army Group South crossed the Polish border and initiated the invasion of Poland. German 31st Infantry Division, as well as 1st and 4th Panzer Divisions crossed the border in the operational sector of the Polish Volhynian cavalry brigade. After breaking through small detachments of the Border Guard and National Defense, the German units seized the towns of Krzepice and Starokrzepice, right in front of the main Polish positions. 4th Panzer Divisions under Generalmajor Reinhardt was one of the first to cross the border with Poland in the area of operations of the Army Group South. Immediately after entering the Polish territory the division was stopped by the Polish Volhynian Cavalry Brigade under Col. Julian Filipowicz and engaged in heavy fighting of the battle of Mokra. The German tanks proved to be inadequately armored and the Poles inflicted heavy casualties on the Germans and repulsed most of their units, which lost roughly 160 armored fighting vehicles in the battle (between 70 and 100 of them being tanks), mostly to Polish-made Bofors 37 mm anti-tank artillery and Kb ppanc wz.35 anti-tank rifles. This "little" Poznan army consists 14th, 17 th, 25 th & 26 th Infantry Divisions and two cavalry brigades (Wielkopolska i Podolska) plus own planes and panzer troops. Also never heard about rush towards Berlin (smells like propaganda also), Army Poznan and remains of army Pomorze were falling back on Warsaw were challenged by German 8th Army, which tried to bar retreat (retreat towards Berlin?).In Such situation General Kutrzeba decided to lunch attack on left flank of advancing Germans troops. The result was hard fought "Battle of the Bzura". The Polish troops succeeded in capturing bridges across Buzra river and hit & drove back German 30th inf division. There was vicious fighting around Lowicz and Sochaczew before Poles pull back caught from the flank by Army group North diverted from Warsaw direction on Hitlers order.

I agree that seizing of Cieszyn and adjacent area was stupid only in terms of rejecting of any further cooperation with Germans. Fatal political move. Also UK is to blame because of giving guarantee without chance of help for Poles. That is what insured Poland to stand against Germans. (by the way Poland did the same stupid thing now in Iraq - supporting USA). And I stress again the biggest mistake was side on which polish fought. In my point of view the biggest mistake made by polish government in 1939 was refuse to join axis. Hitler wanted poles as ally to cover his back from USSR during war in west. Till spring 1939 Germans tried many times to invite Poles but polish minister Beck played balanced game and by the end finished with destruction of all country. Poland cooperated with heers in Czechoslovakia as well as on political grounds. If Poland had joined axis the USSR and western democracies would have been destroyed swiftly. Polish cavalry units proved not only once their superior power over russian units (take a look war in 1920). Polish cavalry was also strong enough to fight panzer divisions. on 1st of September 1939 4th German panzer division run on Wolynska Cavalry Brigade and after one day of struggle polish units pull back in order leaving Germans with 70 burning tanks on fields of Mokra.

Only Panther G is the CMBB stuff which had kept HA and could be found as german captured aromor.

In may scenario, which describe last day of Cherniakow were HA defending Vistula river bank to allow polish army from left bank to render them assistance when germans using all heavy stuff tring to pull them away from banks. (using also sturm tigers and 88mm canons) The only wrong what I can see is that the white red bandages are on the both sleeves. That is unusual. Better put some white red pin or stripes on field cap they wear (what was also practiced). Smokes uniforms were captured In Wola city district by elite polish troops from special assault units of HA headquarter. Units were made of ex-scout boys, very good trained and with highest morale, fanatically devoted for polish capital. Most of them were students and collage pupils, academic teacher and so on. And this troops mostly wore German's smoke uniforms. Because they were famous, often photographed their uniforms become an icon of Warsaw Uprising.

Phillipe-> Take a look at this picture wchich was taken in 1943 in boot camp of 1st Infantry Division in Silece by Oka River. U can see the shape of eagle on the flag. And if U download this short movie http://www.wp39.netlook.pl/str/wp/wp6/w5/lwp-przysiega1dp.rar from the same day in boot camp then U will find directly the sahpe of eagle and flag of polish troops on the east front. The first of three eagels i posted already look as made of metal becouse it exacly is. That eagel is taken from polish field cap but the shape of emblem is the same. The flags above are polish post-war navy flags, and are supposed to be used only by navy units till 1989 when eagel get crowned again. My military service I spet in polish navy under this flag. So using them for other purposes is misundrestending. "appropriate flag should probably be a simple red and white bi-color" Yes that is true. Plish flag state official flag is simlpy white & red. And used as such by polish troops on the Eastern front.

By the way. Do somebody knows wheter BF is to make next game from CM series. For example from 1939 till 1940 - invasion of Poland and France. That could nice conclude all series of games. I am really wainting form such game. But on the other hand it is clear to me that such a game will be politically incorrect in US. And about Gheto uprising Philippe. U can easy use crowned eagel for ghetto fighters. They were polish citizens and they felt as polish. Uncrowded eagel in 1943 in Pland is overinterpretation of situation wchich hapend afterwards.

This is true eagel of polish army in the east 100% (nothing else) This is pre war polish eagel used later only on the west. And that what left aftr war till 1989.

Nothing is coded for polish troops but flag (by the way also wrong, flag used be CMBB is flag designated for polish navy - called "bandera") and that is the case.

Thx, for advice on changing date in editor. But it looks work only in one direction. When I tried get partisan (from 1943) as polish Home Army in scenario from Warsaw Uprising 44 I found impossible to play singiel palyer mode. Also starnge to me that they coded soviet partisans but not Polish Home Army. Shoud not to be the problem becouse they used captured germans weapons and uniforms (mostly).
