  1. I just noticed the opponent finder on this site.. I'll try that as well..
  2. What sites out there are good for getting together with other PBEM players? I'm kind of tired of playing against AI.. I'd like to play CMBB, too, but even though the interface is better, I'm sick of getting my ass kicked by superior German armour and my own useless artillery corps.. Thanks for any and al replies!
  3. This is my first mass tank battle map.. I move my tanks (soviet) to the ridge and instruct them to move to hull down, but when they get there they just reverse when they see their out-gunned.. What do I do, wait behind the ridge until a scout let's me know they've advanced far enough, then rush them? That's all I can think of that'll give me a chance against Tigers.. 4. "What kinds of books are you looking for? First hand accounts or more like technical manuals?" Technical manuals. The different Soviet tanks, and their specs, especially, and a blow-by-blow account of the major battles. The feild-tactics of both sides would be excellent info, too Thanks for your comments! 6. Boy! And I thought I knew nothing about the Western front! Got some reading to do.. 1. Any good non-fiction books you could suggest on the Eastern front, from both or either perspectives? 2. Am I to understand the soviets had no personal anti-tank weapons besides molotov cocktials and the seemingly useless anti-tank rifle (I've thus far only been able to kill trucks with it, and that at close range..)?! That sucks.. 3. Tactics for Tank vs. tank on the open steppe.. Von Lauchert, for example.. I move my tanks to the ridge and instruct them to move to hull down, but when they get there they just reverse when they see their out-gunned.. What do I do? Rush them?

  8. 68 turns??? Wow.. Thanks Soddball, I'll give it a go.
  9. Just to clarify I'm refering to equal forces on either side, not balanced "maps"..
  10. Suggestions? Seemes some maps have the odds stacked againt one side or the other..
  11. High-cost real-estate was an awesome scenario.. If your Canadian..
