  1. Hi, besides Boots and Tracks, are there any other good places to download scenarios and operations for CMBB and CMAK? The Scenario Depot appears to be gone... Thanks in advance, Ben
  2. Well, I have to say I seriously doubt I'll be buying this game based on what I've seen in the demo. For $35 there are much more involving, complex, graphically superior, and innovative games (both computer and board) to be had. I'm a huge fan of all incarnations of Combat Mission, but this game seems to fall way below the mark of Battlefront's quality standard. Just my humble opinion, of course.
  3. Hi, Please forgive this post if this is an old, much discussed problem. Here's the situation: Whenever I minimize CMBB or my computer goes to sleep, and then I come back to the game, I have a black screen. My mouse pointer is still visible, but nothing else is. Very frustrating! I haven't figured out how to prevent this or recover from it once it happens. Any advice? Oh, in case its relevant, I'm using a GeForce 2 card.

  5. Yep, I'm definitely out here. Some nagging e-mail server problems slowing me up a bit, but I should be rolling steady by tomorrow! Sorry for any delays to my opponents. Ben
  6. Hi, Alright, here's a pseudo-newbie question. I'm a longtime lurker and player of CMBO and CMBB, and I've always just played against the AI. Since there's no "Gamespy" equivalent for CMBB, I was wondering what the best way to find opponents for TCP/IP? Failing that (or perhaps preferable on days when I only have 30-60 minutes to play), what's the best way to find out who is looking for PBEM? Thanks in advance, Ben
  7. Well, CMBB still has another shot for strategy game of the year at GameSpy: http://www.gamespy.com/goty2002/ Results are being announced on Dec 24th. It certainly received my vote! Ben
  8. Hi all: thought the powers that be might want to do something about this on E-Bay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1946559014 My apologies if this is old news. Ben
