Danish Dude Posted November 1, 2002 Share Posted November 1, 2002 Hi, I seem to have encountered another kind of install-problem than the one described in that enormous thread. So hopefully someone here can help me out? The situation is this: When I try to install the game it stops dead in its tracks during the sound-file installation. Most often when trying to un-RAR 00005005.wav, though I had it happen with 00000134.wav as well. I HAVE closed my virus program and all other non-necessary programs. The wav.rar file itself is intact seens I can un-RAR all the sound files manually. I have also tried to do so and to complete the installation with the downloadable scenarios.zip file, but to no avail. The game tells me that I need a file called openplay.dll, and I suspect that more .dll files will be missing. Has anyone else encountered this problem, and is there a way to work around it? I would really appreciate any help. Madmatt Posted November 1, 2002 Share Posted November 1, 2002 You have the CDV version and will need to contact their tech support for help on that issue as they use a different installer than we do.
