TankBait Posted June 6, 2003 Share Posted June 6, 2003 I did a full install of the new "retail" version of the game and when I try to play any scenario it seems to freeze on the loading 3d screen with the different flags. Eventually my hardrive light goes off, and I hear the music for the scenario, but it seems to not be initializing my video. I'm using a geforce based card with the 36.xx drivers, and dx9. Madmatt Posted June 7, 2003 Share Posted June 7, 2003 Sounds like a Anti-Aliasing issue. You can workaround it one of a few ways. #1 is to just alt-tab out of the game and back in. That should do the trick. #2 a more pemanent fix would be to upgrade to the 30.82 series drivers. They will allow you to run anti-aliasing with no problems. #3 You could upgrade to the new 44.03 drivers but you would have to disable Full Screen Anti-Aliasing. You do this from the Display Properties control panel in windows. #4 You can keep your current drivers but still disble Anti-Aliasing as mentioned above.
