I have ascertained its a problem is with the 1.01 CM exe file up date not the graphics. I have uninstalled and installed twice and still got the problem. Using all the latest drivers. Using Tnt2 pci card. pent 233 80 meg ram and v7a DX. Would show you a screen capture not sure how to import onto board. I can get new explosions. please help getting a little pissed. Guest Big Time Software Posted July 26, 2000 Share Posted July 26, 2000 It looks like you didn't install the v1.01 patch correctly, meaning that the new v1.01 BMP files were either: 1. Not placed in the BMP directory at all, or 2. Were placed in the BMP directory, but WITHIN the directory they came in with the patch. You need to copy the BMP files as individual files into the main BMP directory. When you're done, there should be NO sub-directories inside your BMP directory. Charles<HR></BLOCKQUOTE> Yep I'm a dope! When I'd check for additional directories before I have looked for new bmp dir, wasn't there but ignored the 1.01 dir just dum I guess. I did extract into a temp directory then copy across, but didn't work not to worry all sorted out now, sorry for wasting your time, but I'm happy now those new explosions are great, thanks for heading me in the right direction Ron 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
