Sgt AA
Barbarossa to Berlin: A chronology of the campaigns on the Eastern Front 1941 to 1945. Brian Taylor, 2003. Volume One & Two --------------------------------------------------- Guess the title says it all? This book is a great help to sort things out. It's goes (more or less) day by day and is divided in North, Central and South sector. That means that it's easy to read e g about the time and place you're interested in.
Sgt AA
Crimea Anyone who can recommend a good book about the fightings on the Crimea? I have Manstein's "Lost victories" and have also read Bidermans biografi.
JonS
"Death of the Wehrmacht" Citino "Stopped at Stalingrad" Heyward (or Hayward?) Both cover far more than just Crimea, but both have good coverage of the operations there, and both do a very good job of placing the operations of 11th Army in a wider context.
