richa Posted April 29, 2008 Share Posted April 29, 2008 when selecting a unit (any unit) all other units disappear? icons and sound disappear and the game seems to go in to pause mode. this happens in any battle, campaign etc.when i click off the selected unit, all reappear?? game is at 1.08 and with some mods. uninstalling mods makes no difference. vista is fully updated and have tried four different video drivers. system is intel core 2 duo , nvidia 7900GTX, 1.3 g ram, vista 32bit. over 130 gigs of space left on hdd. i frequently defrag etc. with careful selection of game and system setting for graphics the game plays excellent (apart from this). YankeeDog Posted April 29, 2008 Share Posted April 29, 2008 Yes. If you are playing Elite, you will see *only* the units your currently selected unit can see -- Enemy AND Friendly. If you click on the ground somewhere so that you have no unit currently selected, you will see all friendly units, as well as all enemy units that your units collectively have spotted.
