Popper
I just got my copy of CM today and installed it without a hitch. Unfortunately, it won't display anything past the "Loading 3d Graphics" screen. I have a Powerbook G3 Bronze edition. What am I doing wrong?
Giftig
My friend has the same problem. Any ideas? We really want to play, or at least get him off of my system.
chrisl
Try turning off the intro movie (turn it off by holding the shift key down while CM launches) rather than skipping it. I know a few people who have the Bronze (and don't have CM) so I might try it on theirs. I'm using an old Wall Street (how quickly they get old...).
Guest Big Time Software
You may want to upgrade your 3D Extensions from www.atitech.ca. Download their Universal Installer and run it. Charles
bsoplinger
That installer is almost a year old at this point, dated in december 99. ATI is just downright awful in regard to updating their mac drivers. If they do have newer drivers, please post a link to them, the 'universal' driver is just way too old. PS: Even apple seems to know that, because OpenGL has updates to the ATI drivers included within it.

elementalwarre
fyi, a 5.16.2000 mac ati sw update is at http://asu.info.apple.com/swupdates.nsf/artnum/n11680 as always, the update is only for mac os 9.0.4 so for pre-904 systems, ask me or any mac developer for tomeviewer. you can get the installer sdk yourself but it's over 15M
bsoplinger
Thank You! I figured there had to be updated ATI drivers, but couldn't find them. Pulled them out with tomeviewer and life's good.
