Sound Lose

Ok guys here is my issue. I was playing a PBEM game without issue,

I "Alt-Tab" out of the game to surf a little.

I went to www.madblast.com to checkout some flash videos,

however when I switched back to the game I had no sound.

So naturally

I exited the game and started it again, no sound.

I thought that maybe Flash in IE 5.5 didn't release my sound.

So I rebooted my machine, no sound.

I checked my volumes, all good

I played a MP3 in Winamp without a issue, however still no sound in game.

So I tested my sound in Direct X, Passed Everything.

Well I reinstalled over the original files, damn it if it still didn't play any sound.

So I'm ready to spit.

Never mind I fixed it, I ended up deleting the game, then installing a fresh copy. This fixed the sound lose. Weird.
