Marky Posted December 14, 2004 Share Posted December 14, 2004 as we all know, wen the game starts in the early scnarions for the germans IE 39, 40, they have no bombers, and yet , if i remember right, warsaw was bombed during the polish campaign, and so was brussels and yet in both of those early scens, the germans have NO bombers will this be remedied? JerseyJohn Posted December 14, 2004 Share Posted December 14, 2004 Air Fleets in SC1 represent fighters and tactical bombers, which the Germans had many of. They were twin engined, some of them converted cargo or transport aircraft. Additionally the Stuka dive bomber. Bomber units in SC would mean heavy strategic bombers such as the B-17, which the Germans did not have except for plans on drawing boards that were set aside from the thirties, when Udet and Goering decided everything should be capable diving. The Germans attempted to use their Heinkel's and Doerniers in a strategic bombing role in the Battle of Britain, and they failed. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
