Athlon 1800+ 512MB RAM WinXP GeForce2 Ti 3.0.8.2 driver SB Live! 80.0.0.3 driver (just downloaded the latest) dxdiag reports no problems found (dx8.1) When I start the game the splash screen comes up, then the screen blanks and there are a few flashes that look sort of like the syncing I've seen other games do before displaying Then the game minimizes onto the task bar. If I click the CMBO taskbar icon, it blanks the screen does the screen flashes again and drops back to the taskbar icon again. No music or sounds play during any of this. I tried holding the space bar down to skip the QT movie like the troubleshooting guide suggests, no difference. I also tried fooling with different sync rates on my monitor/adapter. I have about 20 other games on this system that work ok. I guess I'm hoping someone will say "ah, just ... and you'll be up & running!"
