causeway
Ok, here is the deal. This is fyi if any body else has problems with this awsome game. The problem I had was running the game on a HOME BUILT system running XP HOME EDITION. I kept getting an error message telling me that there was no disk in the drive. I could not run the game normaly from the desk top like any other game. When I did the screen was all screwed up and running with the XP compatibility mode also did nothing. Solution!!!! I went into MY COMPUTER--PROPERTIES-----HARDWARE-----DEVICE MANAGER----DISPLAY ADAPTERS-----THEN DISABLED THE CARD. The only problem is having to do this every time to run the game. A friend has it running on a new GATEWAY system with no problem. Hope this helps anyone who has a problem like this. Dave
Panzertruppe
Simple.....Win XP was designed for "office applications"...not gaming. Win 98E Win ME are good for "intertainment" software. PS.............. Win XP also has problems with CDV games (CMBO-SE) because of the "safe disk" copy protection.
