RMC
I just downloaded a kind of story board version of an intro movie for the Quake3 mod Stalingrad. http://www.planetquake.com/stalingradmod/downloads_images/animatic2.avi (10MB) They haven't had a version release yet. Anyway, several CM sounds are used in the little video including "Ich bin verwundet," and the hatch opening/bailing out sound for tanks. Just wondering if some or any of these sounds were public domain. Shiite, they list Michael Dorosh as a historical consultant.
Bruno Weiss
Uh oh, the plot thickens...
Madmatt
Some of the sound effects in CMBO are from Public Domain sources, such as the hatch and a few others I believe. ALL the spoken dialouge is copyright material of Battlefront.com and Big Time Software and not permitted to be used without our express written permission. Madmatt
I just checked out that movie file. Yeah we have a problem here, many of the sound effects were taken from CMBO including voice samples (I know as one of them is ME!) which are copyrighted. I will look into this, thanks for bringing it to our attention. Madmatt
