David Hagger Jr Posted July 4, 2001 Share Posted July 4, 2001 My first scenario http://mawg0.tripod.com/Combatmission/BeforeTessel.zip Title: Before Tessel Bretteville (Semi-Historical, Overlord scenario #19) Type: British Attack vs German Defend Date: 24th June 1944 Location: Vende-Rauray road 9km from Tessel Weather: Overcast Terrain: Dry Turns: 25 This scenario represents the close fighting around the village of Tessel Bretteville between the troops of the Durham Light infantry (70th Brigade, 49th (West Riding) Division, 61st Reconnaissance Regiment and elements of the PANZER LEHR, 12th SS PANZER, and 21st PANZER Divisions . The day before the assault on Tessel Bretteville begun elements of the 70th Brigade fought a small action against a mixed company from the 12th SS and 21st PANZER Divisions. Note- This scenario was first played at CoastCon 99' using the Overlord WW2 miniature rules and won 2nd place, Map, OOBs and notes carried over to CM. I have another one coming up that would be great for PBEM, if not the scenario then the map should work great I just picked up a great 1:25000 scale map for a section of southern Normandy (Picardie 2310O) and just pulled a few table-top scenarios for the area.
