Sgt. Schultz Posted August 3, 2002 Share Posted August 3, 2002 I cannot seem to connect to games. I get the message - "error, cannot connect to specified IP address". I have searched and checked the other related threads and found nothing that applies. I am running Windows XP pro, have a 128K ISDN dual line modem, NO firewalls of any type(including Windows' built-in one), no LAN or routers, and I have repeatedly confirmed IP addresses at whatismyIP.com. This has never happened in any other game that requires IP play. Deerhunter5 and others connect just fine. Any assistance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated, as I have no desire to be banished to PBEM puragtory for my tenure here.
