Atlas
No matter how terrible you feel your skills are, the best way to learn CM is to join a ladder such as www.tournamenthouse.com (TH)and play against the better players. In TH there is a ranking system that let's you choose the level of player you wish to battle. I would suggest you hook up with the best players (Swamp, Ghost) and learn from them. Thermopylae
Though it would be pointedly biased not to mention that TH has a stigma of gaminess associated with it...and some people (of whom you can find any number by searcing up one of the epic gamer v. historian debates) believe that the battles there are really won in the force selection screen. (does not nessecarily reflect view of the poster, altough I do tend to be more historically inclined)
Gremlin
I'd recommend checking out Rugged Defence: http://www.rugged-defense.nl/cm/cm.htm ------------------ New to Combat Mission? Psyched
I have enjoyed playing the ladder at: www.combathq.thegamers.net The players who I have met there have been very courteous and non-gamey. In addition, there are many opponents from multiple countries, who I have enjoyed both meeting and competing against. Jusy my .
