Maj Soshtokovich
OK without further adue, Does the CA command ( for vehicles) need to have the distance stipulated OR is a small size arc automaticaly extended to the edges of the map board. The big CA look pretty ugly on the map..... What is the difference between armour CA and the other one? Thanks, I've only had it for 4 days btw
Nolloff
armor covered arc: Do only engage armor in the specified arc. E.g. don´t engage infantry and run the risk that while pounding away at them an enemy tank is not getting fired upon. At least that´s how I understand it. Zakalwe
The covered arc defines the area where your unit will fire at the enemy. So if you want your tank to shoot at enemies at the maximum range, you'll have to set a long arc. Perhaps not aesthetically too pleasing, but very useful... Short arcs are useful for close-range ambushes. The armor arc gives the unit orders to engage only armoured fighting vehicles. So an ATG with this order will ingnore e.g. trucks and infantry. Michael Emrys
If you don't like the look of covered arcs all over the map, there is a hotkey (Shift-X) that will toggle between all units and a selected one.
