Wolfgangmapleleaf
I`ve noticed in several scenarios that when armor reenforcements arrive on the field and are ordered to fast move in order to engage more quickly, they become disabled and are immobile for the rest of the battle. Is this a game bug? This has happened even when the units are to move along a road, not rough terrain.
Guest ACTOR
I haven't seen what you're talking about. Is it possible you're talking about open topped armor (M10 TDs etc.) that maybe got shelled and then became immobilized? In a recent PBEM I played my opponent had a M10 immobilized and then abandoned after shelling that came not closer than 50 or 60m.
L.Tankersley
What were ground conditions, and was the road paved? I don't know for sure, but it seems likely that a vehicle moving along an unpaved road in wet or worse conditions could risk becomming bogged or immobilized. Did the vehicles bog before becomming immobilized? I've never seen a vehicle get bogged in open ground/road terrain under dry conditions. Note that moving through any other terrain type (e.g. scattered trees) runs a risk of immobilization that is exacerbated by moving Fast. Try going at Move or Hunt speed through these difficult areas. Also note that vehicles with high ground pressure are more likely to bog. ------------------ Leland J. Tankersley
Wolfgangmapleleaf
The problem I`ve mentioned occured on a paved road on dry ground with Panthers, and also cross country on dry ground with Stug`s. I can possibly understand drive train problems moving fast over rough ground, but can`t figure out two Panthers in the same scenario breaking down on paved roads when ordered to move fast. Got to be a bug?????????? ------------------
