It seems to me that they would have been really useful for the Russians to have. Where have you been hiding since 1999? Anyway, according to Steven Zaloga in The Red Army Handbook 1939-1945 the United States sent approximately 8,500 zooks to Russia. However, he continues by saying that there is not any record of their use in combat. I guess that is the reason the BFC guys didn't include them in CMBB.
